1 Corinthians 1:10 I appeal to you, dear brothers and sisters, by the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ, to live in harmony with each other. Let there be no divisions in the church. Rather, be of one mind, united in thought and purpose.
The Church is:
The Church is the home of God
The Church is the House of prayer
The Church is where the Presence of God resides
The Church is where we hear the word of God
The Church is to worship God
The Church is to thank God
The Church is to share our faith
The Church is for imperfect people
The Church belongs to God!
The Church is NOT:
* It is NOT a club of selected people
* It is NOT a place of entertainment
* It is NOT a Business -It is not a political party
* The Church is not for recreational
* The Church is not a place to gossip
* The Church is not to criticize
Matthew 21:13
He said to them, “It is written, My house shall be called a house of prayer,’ but you make it a den of robbers.
1 Kings 8:27-30 “But will God indeed dwell on the earth? Behold, heaven and the highest heaven cannot contain you; how much less this house that I have built! Yet have regard to the prayer of your servant and to his plea, O LORD my God, listening to the cry and to the prayer that your servant prays before you this day, that your eyes may be open night and day toward this house, the place of which you have said, My name shall be there,’ that you may listen to the prayer that your servant offers toward this place.
