“God has done so Much for me”
Gratitude is a positive Response to God's Grace and Goodness.
Text: 1 Samuel 1:10-11/27-28
Hannah was in deep anguish, crying bitterly as she prayed to the LORD. And she made this vow: “O LORD of Heaven’s Armies, if you will look upon my sorrow and answer my prayer and give me a son, then I will give him back to you. He will be yours for his entire lifetime, and as a sign that he has been dedicated to the LORD, his hair will never be cut.”
I asked the LORD to give me this boy, and he has granted my request. Now I am giving him to the LORD, and he will belong to the LORD his whole life.” And they worshiped the LORD there.
- Gratitude Helps us Not to forget our Request.
- Gratitude Encourages us to keep our Promise to God.
- Gratitude Empowers worship.
“Gratitude doesn’t require Practice, it requires Acknowledgment. It doesn’t ask for Perfection, only Action. Gratitude doesn’t need a Title, it calls for Humility.”
“Gratitude turns Bitterness into, Joy into answer, Sadness into Happiness, And Silenceinto a Song.”
Psalms 103:1-5 Let all that I am praise the LORD; with my whole heart, I will praise his holy name. Let all that I am praise the LORD; may I never forget the good things he does for me. He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases. He redeems me from death and crowns me with love and tender mercies. He fills my life with good things. My youth is renewed like the eagle’s!
