Life is full of unexpected things. Sometimes you find yourself in a good place in life, and sometimes you may find yourself in a bad place. We all know that life has many challenges. There are some that hit harder than others. As much as we try to keep going and trust in God, those challenges keep coming at us.

When I'm ready to give up and throw in the towel, I ask God if I can get some rest. I tell Him that I'm feeling tired and overwhelmed. He gives me rest, but not always in the way I expect. I've learned that whenever I'm faced with a situation or difficulty, I can always bring it to God. I bring it to Him on my knees in prayer, in praise and worship, reading His word and seeking Him. Only in Him can we find our answer, peace, and our rest. In Him we can find everything we need in life.

Everything has a purpose. If we gave up (like I was about to do with this writing) I wouldn't have seen what God was trying to show me. I had surgery on my hand that was unexpected. My husband and I had to cancel our upcoming plans for the week. I found rest in an unexpected situation. Our blessings are sometimes hidden in those unexpected situations. God knows what we need.

We must continue to trust God in whatever challenge we face, don’t give up. Keep praying and trusting God. Look for opportunities to serve God and never give up. We must be determined not to give up. Persevere and keep going until the end. If we give up, we will never know the true purpose God has in our life. Our blessing might be hidden in the unexpected, and we will never find it if we give up now.

Don’t focus on the unexpected situation or challenge. Focus on God and don’t give up, because your blessing is coming.

We belong to God, so don’t give up now!
